When I moved to Ohio from Pennsylvania 16 years ago, I was told there was two seasons winter and orange barrel season. I laughed, I shrugged and kept plugging along. I was in my mid-twenties and being from the “snowbelt” not a lot phased me. Now, as a father of three, a small business owner and a doctor who has to drive to work, those orange barrels are kicking my tail. No matter which way I travel to work, to either office, it’s a guarantee I’m going to be slowed by construction. So why am I writing about this and arguably griping about it? Because, if it effects my travel, it’ll probably effect your travel to one of the offices.

Though it may seem obvious, I’ll say it anyways, please allow extra time to travel to the office. We are very blessed to continue to get busier and busier, and our policy is that if you arrive 15’ after your scheduled appointment you will be considered a no show and we will charge you a no-show fee. In addition to that it does take a little longer to get an x-ray and if you need one our staff will notify you that image and for that we would ask you to get here 30 minutes early.

At the end of the day, traffic and construction can be frustrating and time consuming. We greatly value our patients and only ask that you arrive safely and on time to the best of your ability. If you realize that you may be late simply call and reschedule and we will do our best to accommodate. Your safety and the safety of those working in the orange barrel zones are of the utmost importance so please take your time being aware it may take more time to get here.
